	Grace Marie Derr, 71, of whiting, Iowa, died on November 18, 1987,in 
Omaha, NE.
	She was born December 2, 1915, in Detroit Lakes, Minn., the daughter 
of William J. and Laura (Knutsen) Baxter.  She married Charles Philip Derr 
October 8, 1944, in Mitchell, S.D.   Mr. Derr died January 23, 1965, in Mesa, 
Ariz.
	Survivors include a son, Philip of Whiting, a daughter, Deborah Tuerk 
of Omaha, a sister, Joan Clayton of San Pedro, Calif., and five grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant 
daughter Laurie Ann, and one brother, William Homer.
