CLYDE E. DICKINSON                       (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Clyde E. Dickinson, 87, of Soldier, Iowa died December 2, 1978 at the 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born November 5, 1891 in Modale, Iowa, the son of John and 
Sarah Brownrigg Dickinson.  On July 4, 1917 he married Daisy Wade in Soldier.
	
	He was a member of the Christian Church at Ute, Iowa.
	Mr. Dickinson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Flynn, Fairfax, 
Va., and  Arla  of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Leona Owens.
