MERENA A. DISRUDE                    (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Merena A. Disrude, a resident of Onawa, Iowa since 1936, passed away 
in her home August 17, 1976.
	Merena was born June 27, 1902 at Soldier, Iowa; the daughter of Ole 
Longlee and Matilda Amunson Longlee.  She was united in marriage to Oscar 
Disrude on September 27, 1922 at Soldier, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on 
January 7, 1966.
	
	Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Arla (Darlene) Aiello of 
Pittsburg, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Beacher (Edna) Hillman of Logan, Iowa, two 
brothers, Elmer and Bennett Longlee of Soldier, Iowa, and five grandchildren.  
There are six great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and 
three brothers.
