	Bertha I. Ellis was born July 2, 1886 at Neola, Iowa and passed away   
in Onawa, IA  Nov. 11, 1967 at the age of 81 years.
	On November 14, 1905 she married  Howard Ellis at Mo. Valley.  He 
preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1953.
	
	Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Francis Dickinson of Soldier, 
Mrs. Calvin Dudek of Livermore, Calif., Mrs. Conley Johnson of Tucson, 
Arizona, Mrs. Earl Kratz of Whiting, Mrs. Edward Mander of Lawton and Mrs. 
Clarence Bergstrom of Soldier; three sons, Dayle of Whiting, Harold of Sioux 
City and Howard of Sloan; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Zimmer of Ida Grove; 26 
grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
	Besides her husband she was preceded in death by three sons and one 
daughter.
