Gertrude Erickson
Laid To Rest                                       (From the collection of 
Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Miss Gertrude Erickson, a lifetime resident of the Soldier community, 
passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday morning, Nov. 15. 
	
	
	Miss Erickson was born August 17, 1897 at Soldier, a daughter of Nels 
and Mary Erickson.
	
	Her survivors include two brothers, Edwin Erickson, with whom she made 
her home, and Elmer of Ute; two sisters, (Clara) Mrs. John Datterl of Dunlap 
and (Palma) Mrs. Voyle Blackman of Moorhead.  There are two nieces and two 
nephews, a number of cousins and other relatives who mourn her passing.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. E. C. 
(Mergena) Lee and Amy Erickson.
