ERICKSON OLSON                (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	O’Tilla Emilia Erickson Olson, a long time resident of Ute, Iowa 
passed away at the Elmwood Nursing Home at Onawa, Iowa, on July 11, 1973.  
	Born July 28, 1884 at Soldier, Iowa, she was the daughter of Erick and 
Margaret Olson.  
	She was married to Knut Olson in 1927 at Ute, Iowa.  To this union was 
born a son, Marion Edward.  She appreciated music and especially that of 
Marion, her son, who was a talented musician and was a great comfort to her 
with his musical ability.
	
	Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Minnie Clemon of Onawa, Iowa, and 
one granddaughter, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.  
	She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, son, and three half 
brothers, Ole, Nels, and Julius.
