	Donald Everett Ewing, 50, of Onawa, Iowa, died on Saturday, September 
5, 1987, near Turin, Iowa.
	He was born September 16, 1936, at Onawa, the son of Lawrence Everett 
Ewing and Grace Tonetta Docken Ewing.   On May 26, 1957, he married Hope 
Archer at Onawa
	
	Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Kimberly) Johnson of El 
Toro, Calif., Jody Burgess, Mrs. Steven (Lori) Mathes and Kysa Ewing, all of 
Onawa, a son, Brett, of Onawa, a brother Denzil of Omaha, two sisters, Mrs. 
Larry (Shirley) Hogue of Harlan and Mrs. Don (JoAnn) Solberg of Moorhead, and 
eight grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
