	Clara Edith (Johnson) Foss, 87, of Onawa, Iowa, died Wednesday, 
October 11, 1995, at her residence.
	She was born August 9, 1908, at Moorhead, Iowa, to Ole and Ingeborg 
(Sandvold) Johnson.   She married Oscar Foss on June 6, 1937, at Soldier.   
Mr. Foss died October 10, 1991, in Onawa.
	
	Survivors include her son and his wife of Soldier, son-in-law of 
Sloan, sister, Ruth Johnson of Onawa, five grandchilden, four great 
grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ila Ping, two 
sisters, Alice and Amanda Johnson and brother Oscar Johnson.
