	1993

	Irene F. Franklin, 92, Onawa, IA, died Sunday, April 18, 1993 in 
Whiting, IA.
	She was born November 10, 1900, in Moorhead, IA, the daughter of Irvin 
and Floy (Parker) Surber.    On January 26, 1920, she married Eldon E. 
Franklin.  
	Survivors include a son and his wife of Spokane, WA; a daughter and 
her husband of Omaha; two sisters, Mildred Olson and Nora and her husband, J. 
Russell Cartmell, all of Onawa; six grandchildren and their spouses; and nine 
great-grandchildren	She was preceded in death by her parents; three 
sisters,  Edna Tornow, Mae Outhouse, and Everell Surber; a brother Charles; an 
infant brother; and a great-grandchild, Elisha.
