	Morton E. Freeman, 61, Whiting, died January 9, 1987, in Burgess 
Memorial Hospital, Onawa.
	He was born August 15, 1925, in Monroe, S.D., to Lyle and Carrie 
(Griebel) Freeman.   On August 13, 1950, he married Joyce McNutt in Alpena, S.D
	Survivors include his wife, Joyce, and two daughters, LeEllen Freeman 
of Harlan, and Mrs. Roger (Barbara) Yudka of Onawa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lou Vaine.
