	Ann M. Garred, 29, Whiting,  died September 8, 1986, at the University 
of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
	She was born January 21, 1957, at Onawa, Iowa, to Dr. John and Fern 
(Van Doren) Garred, Sr.
	
	Survivors include her parents, Dr. and Mrs. John Garred, Sr. of 
Whiting, one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. John Garred, Jr. of 
Whiting, a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Garred of Whiting and maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Van Doren of Bethalto, Ill.
	She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, paternal 
grandfather, and twin sisters.
