Florence K. Garred                          1995

	Florence K. Garred, 94, Whiting, Iowa, died Sunday, September 17, 
1995, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	She was born August 13, 1901, at Syracuse, NY, the daughter of John 
Christian and Viola Elizabeth (Mickle) Phillips.   On April 28, 1923, she 
married U.V. Garred in Roanoke, VA.
	
	
	She is survived by two sons, one grandson and his wife of Whiting, and 
two great grandsons  of Whiting.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, twin 
granddaughters, a granddaughter, Ann M. Garred, DDS, and two sisters, Eunice 
Wiley and Ruth McDougall.
