C. Basil Gibbs                            (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Cyril Basil Gibbs, the son of Solon and Anna Schultz Gibbs was born 
September 24, 1904 at Clearwater, Neb.    
	He married Rose Doidge on December 26, 1934 at Charter Oak, Iowa.   He 
passed away at the hospital in Denison, IA February 12, 1984.  
	Survivors include his beloved wife, Rose, three daughters, one son, 
Raymond of Grand Island, Neb., seventeen grandchildren, one brother, Ivan of 
Ute and one sister, Mrs. Ivora Schlensig of Phoenix, Ariz.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and two brothers.
