Gingles (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen) Dr. Gingles was a man who believed that right should rule and did his utmost to see that it was upheld. He tried to pass this quality on to his children and grandchildren and to all his many acquaintances. He was a man that loved the great outdoors. His occupation of Medicine together with his interest in nature, and people, kept him busy most of the time. He was a kind and loving father and kept his home and family together with the help of his loving companion. Dr. Gingles philosophy was “Never look(sic) back, but always look to the future and everyday get some enjoyment out of life for one never knows when God will be calling us Home.” Dr. G. was just a common person, not glamorous, not thrilling, but a man bound by some of the sterling qualities passed on to him by his parents and also by the vicissitudes of life. So may be let memory have its perfect work in each of our lives, and hold for us only their victories, their noblest and Best. A good and lovable man has left us, but I am sure he would want us to carry on until we, too, are called to our eternal rest. A friend of Dr. Gingles Bernard Routh DR.
