	Erma Edna Gray, 81, of Onawa, Iowa, formerly of Moorhead, died 
Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at the home of her daughter, Sharon Farber in Onawa.
	She was born July 20, 1914, in Moorhead, the daughter of Arthur and 
Edna (Anderson) McElwain.   On July 3, 1938 she married Fern Everett Gray in 
Moorhead.    He died April 4, 1975 in Onawa.  
	
	Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Farber of Onawa; two sons, James 
and his wife, Sandra of Bowling Green, MO and Roger and his wife, Carol of 
Pomeroy, IA, five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister-in-
law, Eunice Howard of Estherville, IA.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two 
brothers, Otis and Donald.
