	Lawrence H. Gust, the son of Herman and Ruth (Waack) was born January 
17, 1930 on the family farm northwest of Ute.   He married Dorothy Hoffman, 
December 21, 1952 in Onawa, Iowa
	
	Survivors include his wife, Dorothy,one daughter, Audrey of Mapleton; 
three  sons, Thomas of Ames, Anthony and his wife, Shirley of Council Bluffs, 
and Steven of Mapleton; a sister, Miss Lorene Gust of Mapleton; and 3 step-
grandchildren, Dawn, David, and Daniel Letcher.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
	Lawrence passed away October 26, 1992 at Onawa, Iowa.
