	Ralph P. Habinck, 82, of Mapleton died Monday, May 1, 1989, in a Sioux 
City, IA.
	Mr. Habinck was born July 20, 1906, at Mapleton.  On Dec. 24, 1936, he 
married Ada Castle in Sioux City	
	Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Garlin (Betty) Kunze of 
Mapleton; a son, Gale and daughter-in-law, Nancy of Waterloo; a sister, Miss 
Grace Habinck of McAlester, Okla.; two brothers, Arthur and Percy, both of 
Mapleton, and six grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Judy; and son, 
Leroy; two brothers and one sister.
