 Mabel H. Hadden, 86, of Mapleton died Monday, Feb. 21, 1994, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	
	Mrs. Hadden was born Sept. 9, 1907, rural Castana, the daughter of 
Peter and Helen (Robbins) Carlson.  She married Edward Hadden Oct. 24, 1934, 
in Onawa.    He died Aug. 18, 1977.  
		Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Louise and 
Donald Kirkpatrick of Mapleton; a son, John of Fremont, Neb.; 11 
grandchildren, Mark, Allen, Zachary, Billy and Chrissy Hadden; Doug and Scot 
Kirkpatrick; Terri Pilgrim; Sherry Welte, Linda McLean and Becky Donnelly; 13 
great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-
grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Barb Hadden.
