	Roy Hadden, 87, formerly of Castana, Iowa, died at Pleasant View 
Nursing Home in Whiting, Iowa, on Sunday, December 15, 1991.  He was born July 
7, 1904, in Jordan Township, Monona county, Iowa, the son of Lewis and Maggie 
(Hall) Hadden  On February 27, 1931, he was married to Marian Carritt at 
Onawa.   Mrs. Hadden died January 11, 1981, at Onawa.  
	
	Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Rose) DuVal of Onawa and 
Mrs. Harley (Ruth) Beall of Sioux City, a son, Don and his wife, Darlene, of 
Castana, nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren, one sister, 
Viora Jones of Soldier and two sisters-in-law, Mabel Hadden and Irene Hadden, 
both of Soldier.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three brothers, 
Walt, Ed and James.
