	Nels M. Hansen, 87, Onawa, IA, died Friday, March 5, 1993, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital, Onawa.
	He was born September 1, 1905, at Campbell, NE, to Hans and Martha 
(Larson) Hansen.  On May 19, 1928, he married Edna Hanson at Onawa
	Survivors includhis wife, Edna; a daughter and her husband, Faye and 
LeRoy Kannas of Harlan, IA; a son and his wife, Leslie and Marge Hansen of 
Libertyville, IL; a brother, Harvey Hansen of Turin; 3 sisters, Bessie 
Fredrickson and Marian Keith, both of Onawa, and Mrs. Don (Ada) Erickson of 
Sioux City, IA; 4 grandchildren, Kenneth Williamson, Janet Zimmerman, Dale 
Williamson, and Lori Finken; and 7 great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pearl Mathisen; 2 
brothers, Irvin and Art; and a great granddaughter.
