	Sigurd Hansen, 100, Onawa, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 8, 1988, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born April 8, 1888, in Breth, Denmark, to Peter and Anna 
(Strabel) Hansen.    On December 12, 1913, he married Agnes L. Hansen in 
Onawa.   Mrs. Hansen died September 19, 1984, in Whiting
	
	Survivors include five daughters, Ano Wilkins and Mrs. Harold 
(Lillian) Hausman, both of Onawa, Mrs. Ray (Opal) Atherton of Los Angeles, 
Calif., Mrs. Robert (Grace) McHarg of Camarillo, Calif., and Clara Ballew of 
Santa Monica, Calif., one brother, Julius of Bremerton, Wash., fifteen 
grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Agnes, three sons, 
Dale, during World War II, Clayton and LeRoy, three sisters, and ten brothers.
