Hilda C. Hanson
Laid To Rest				(From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Hilda C. Hanson, a lifelong resident of the Soldier community, passed 
away at her home here Sunday, March 9.  She was 86 years old.
	Mrs. Hanson was born October 20, 1882 at Soldier, Iowa, the daughter 
of Hans and Helen Wingate.
	On April 12, 1905 she was united in marriage to Ole J. Hanson at 
Soldier.  
	Survivors include four sons:  Hersel, Orvan, and Willard, all of 
Soldier, and Clarion of Sergeant Bluff; one brother, Oscar Wingate of Soldier; 
22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband in 1931 and by one son, Wallace in 1964.
