Hersel J. Hanson

	Hersel J. Hanson, 80, of Soldier, Iowa, died Monday, July 4, 1988, in 
Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
	He was born September 14, 1907, at Soldier to Ole J. and Hilda 
(Wingate) Hanson.    On December 22, 1934, he married Jeanette McShannon at 
Soldier.  
	
	Survivors include:  his wife, Jeanette, one daughter of Wausa, Neb., 
and one son of LeMars, six grandsons and two great granddaughters.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Wallace, 
Willard, Clarion, and Orvan.
