	Alma E. Hanson, 77, of Moorhead, Iowa, died Monday, September 10, 
1991, in Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	She was born March 24, 1914, in Castana, Iowa, the daughter of Willis 
and Nellie (Maynard) Diddy.   On April 6, 1944, she married Norman Hanson in 
Soldier.  
	
	Survivors include her husband, a son, Neal and his wife, Karen of 
Boyden, Iowa, a daughter, Marlys Hanson of Omaha, a sister, Ruby Johnson of 
Castana, her stepfather, Francis Lee of Charter Oak, and two granddaughters, 
Marit and Emily Hanson, both of Boyden.
	She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, all in 
infancy.
