	Mrs. Oscar Hanson, 74, of Rodney, Iowa, died on Monday, January 30, 
1989, in St. Luke’s Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
	She was born Eva G. Greenough, the daughter of Howard Otis and Olive 
(Leach) Greenough on September 17, 1914, at Castana.  She married Oscar Hanson 
June 29, 1935, at Elk Point, S.D.  
	
	Survivors include her husband, a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and 
Karen Hanson of Charter Oak, a grandson,, two step-grandsons, two step-
granddaughters, a sister, Evva Mauch of Castana, six step great grandchildren 
and a number of nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Walter “Buck” 
Greenough, Charles Greenough and Glenn Greenough and an infant brother.
