	Rudy Hedges, 55, of Olathe, KS, died Friday, May 14, 1999, at the 
University of Nebraska Hospital in Omaha as a result of an automobile accident 
near Glenwood, Iowa.
	Mr. Hedges was born February 14, 1944, at Onawa, Iowa, the son of 
Gilbert F. and Grace Evelyn (Barker) Hedges.   He married Donna M. Olson on 
December 11, 1965, at Onawa, Iowa.  
	He is survived by one son, Gilbert Hedges of Olathe, KS; two step-sons 
and their wives, L. Mike Foster and his wife, Nancy of Fremont, NE and John M. 
Foster and his wife, Freda of Logansport, IN; two step-daughters and their 
husbands, Christine and Jerry Montanye of Fremont, NE and Susan and Jeffrey 
Iommi of Palatine, IN; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three 
brothers, Royal and his wife, Nancy Hedges of Hannibal, NY, Virgil Hedges of 
Onawa, and Gilbert Gene and his wife, Pauline Hedges of Omaha, NE; and three 
sisters, Ethel Agerson of Sioux City, Iowa; Della and her husband, Paul 
Brannan of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Nancy Hawbaker of Washington.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robert 
Barker.
