Agnes Hicks				1996

	Agnes (Haugen) Hicks, 85, was born November 20, 1910 to Einar and 
Annette (Foss) Haugen in Soldier.  She lived in the Soldier and Dunlap area 
all her life.  She married John (Jack) Hicks of Dunlap.  They had five boys.
	As her health failed she moved into the Dunlap Care Center where she 
resided until she entered the Missouri Valley Hospital where she died May 12, 
1996, Mother’s Day.
	Surviving are four sons and their families, four sisters, Mrs. Swen 
(Valborg) Swenson of Fonda, Mrs. George (Olga) Cornelius of Dow City, Mrs. Tim 
(Eddie Jo) Comfort of Blencoe, and Helen Swenson of Moorhead, three brothers, 
Anton Haugen of Moville, Rolland of Sioux City, and Einar of Tennessee.
	Preceding her in death were one son, four brothers, her parents and 
her husband.
