	Oscar Holverson, a lifetime resident of Jordan township and Soldier 
passed away at the Burgess hospital in Onawa Sunday, Nov. 24.  
		Oscar Holverson, a lifetime resident of Jordan Township and 
the town of Soldier, passed from this life at the Burgess Hospital in Onawa on 
Sunday, November 24, 1968.
	Oscar was a son of Holver and Mary Holverson and was born January 30, 
1889 in Jordan Township.
	He was united in marriage to Myrtle McCall on June 28, 1913 at Onawa.
	
	He is survived by hs(sic) widow, Myrtle; four daughterS, Mrs. James 
(Irene) Hadden, Castana; Mrs. Melvin (Helen) Heck, Soldier; Mrs. Don 
(Charlotte) Samson, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Mrs. Leo (Betty) Stanislav, 
Blencoe; two sons, LaVerne of Moorhead and Glen of Soldier; fourteen 
grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ida Mann of 
Moorhead; two brothers, Herbert of Soldier and Howard of Castana, and a number 
of other relatives and a host of friends.
	He was preceded in death by two sister, Mina and Clara, and four 
brothers, Arthur, Oscar, Glen and Lloyd.
