Candace L. Holverson, 80		(From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Candace L. Holverson was born December 10, 1889 at Cameron, Ill., the 
daughter of Joseph and Mary Hildenbrand Carr.  She passed away in the Burgess 
Memorial Hospital at Onawa, Iowa on Monday, July 6, 1970.
	On March 9, 1921 she was united in marriage to Herbert Holverson in 
the Lutheran Church at Soldier, Iowa.  	Survivors include the husband, Herbert 
of Soldier; one son, Arthur Holverson, also of Soldier; 6 grandchildren; on 
sister, Mary, Mrs. Otto Smith of Stillwater, Okla. And a number of other 
relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Emmet, 
Knowles, Daniel and Joseph and three sisters, Caroline, Bessie and Anna.
