Herbert Holverson
	  Passes Away                         (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Herbert Holverson, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 18 at the Maple 
Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton.
	
	Herbert Holverson was born at Soldier, Iowa on August 7, 1891, the son 
of Holver and Mary Jackson Holverson.  He passed away January 18, 1972.
	
	On March 9, 1921 he was united in marriage to Candace Carr at Soldier 
and to this union one son was born.  His wife preceded him in death on July 6, 
1970.  
	
	Survivors include his son, Arthur of Soldier; one brother, Howard, of 
Castana and six grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sisters and 
five brothers.
