Howard Holverson                        (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Howard Holverson, 80, of Soldier, Iowa, died August 2, 1984, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa, after a brief illness.
	Howard was born March 1, 1904,near Soldier, Iowa, to Holver and Mary 
Jackson Holverson.  On September 30, 1933, he was united in marriage to Celia 
Allen at Onawa, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Celia; two sons both of Soldier; one 
daughter of Sloan, Iowa; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, three 
sisters, Clara, Mina, and Ida, and six brothers, Henry, Glen, Arthur, Loyd, 
Herbert, and Oscar.
