	Helen G. Hopkins, 83, Onawa, Iowa died Wednesday, October 10, 1990, at 
St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
	She was born August 7, 1907, at Whiting, Iowa, to Carl and Rebecca 
(Neilson) Langren.   On March 18, 1936, she married Carl E. Hopkins at 
Whiting.  He died November 26, 1966, at Onawa.  
	
	Survivors include one son, John of Fort Collins, Colo., one daughter, 
Mrs. Phillip (Joan) Shockman of Boston and twins, Mrs. Michael (Susan) Dalton 
and Carleton Shockman, both of Boston.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two 
brothers, Edward and Arthur.
