Ann E. Houchins

TICONIC, Iowa - Ann Elizabeth Houchins, 90, of Whiting, Iowa, formerly of 
Ticonic, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting.

Mrs. Houchins was born Oct. 10, 1909, at Whiting, Iowa, the daughter of George 
and Anna (Kratz) Tippens. 

She married Wayne Houchins on April 7, 1948, at Clarinda, Iowa. The couple 
moved to Ticonic in 1967. Her husband died July 16, 1972, in Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include a stepdaughter of Marcus, Iowa; and two cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Tippens.
