Herbert H. Johnston

	Herbert Hoover Johnston, 84, Turin, Iowa, died Friday, March 11, 1988 
in Onawa, Iowa.
	He was born October 25, 1903, in McLean County, Ill. to Tyler and Ida 
(Hoover) Johnston.    On September 20, 1934, he married Addah M. Whisler in 
Corning, Kan.  
	Survivors include:  his wife, Addah, three sons, one brother, Kingsley 
of Turin, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Asa, and two 
sisters, Hattie Jones and Laura Clarke.
