Mrs. Josie Nelson
Dies at Onawa			(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Mrs. Josie Nelson, 81, passed away Friday, Jan. 17 at the Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa.  
	Josephine Ellen May Robinson was born May 5, 1887 at Anita, Iowa.
	On November 11, 1903 she married Hays Oliver Kelley.  To this union, 
three children were born, Arthur Kelley, who died in infancy, Oliver Kelley, 
who died Jan. 23, 1968, and Florence, Mrs. Chester Kuhl of Whittier, Calif.  
Hays passed away in 1916.  In 1918 she married Burt Stone.  He passed away in 
1946.  On August 13, 1951 she married Archie O. Nelson and lived in Soldier 
until his death on Dec. 18, 1961.  She then moved to Onawa where she had since 
been a resident.  For the past three years she had been a patient at the 
Elmwood nursing home in Onawa.
	
	Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Chester (Florence Kuhl of 
Whittier, Calif.; one daughter-in-law Clara Kelley of Onawa; two grandsons; 
four great grandsons; one sister, Agnes Grinstead of St. Joseph, Mo.  She is 
preceded in death by two sons, one brother and four sisters.
