	Maxine Kirk, 86, Whiting, Iowa, passed from this life on Friday, May 
14, 1999, at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting.
	Maxine was born on September 16, 1912, in rural Whiting, the daughter 
of Mack, Sr. and May (Guthrie) Kenney.  On September 14, 1930, she married 
Clyde Kirk at Whiting
	
	Survivors include her husband of 68 years, a daughter, Pat Deen of 
Onawa; a granddaughter; a grandson;  two brothers, Mack Jr. and his wife Gert, 
of Sloan, and Willard of Sioux City; three nephews and two nieces.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bill Kirk; two 
brothers, Harlan and “Red”; and a son-in-law, Frank Beedle.
