Mrs. Ernest Klaus
	Passes Away                       (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Ernest Klaus of Ute, 61, passed away December 15 
	Mrs. Klaus was the former Leona Knutson.  She was born January 17, 
1909 at Soldier  She was married at Ute August 22, 1926 to Ernest W. Klaus.
	
	Survivors include the widower; 6 daughters, Mrs. Francis Thompson of 
Ute, Mrs. Herald Fisher of Las Vegas, Mrs. Herbert Neumann of Ute, Mrs. Glenn 
Tanner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Vernon King of Charter Oak and Mrs. 
Herman Swink of Omaha; two sons, Milford and Orvan of Omaha; two brothers, W. 
C. Knutson of Soldier, Henry Knutson of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Clarice 
Kelly of Sioux City and twenty-two grandchildren.
