JOSEPH S. KNOFF                          (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Joseph Stenos Knoff, a lifetime resident of the Moorhead Iowa 
community, passed away at Onawa, Iowa on November 10, 1977.  
	Joseph was born October 4, 1899 at Moorhead, Iowa; the son of Charles 
and Thora Kjristensen Knoff.  He was united in marriage to Hazel Coate on 
February 18, 1929 at Onawa, Iowa.  
	Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Moorhead, Iowa; one daughter of 
Soldier, Iowa; two gransons and one great granddaughter, ; three brothers, 
Pete Knoff of Onawa, Iowa, John Knoff of Turin, Iowa, and Andrew Knoff of 
Moorhead, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Chris and Ben; 
and one sister, Dorothea.
