Mary Riddle Knutson							1998

	Mary Riddle Knutson, 92, Sloan, Iowa, died Saturday, August 29, 1998, 
at Marian Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
	Mary was born February 21, 1906, on a farm near Ute, Iowa, the 
daughter of Charles Emmet and Anna (Moore) Riddle.    On September 16, 1925, 
she married Wilmer C. “Pete” Knutson at Onawa, Iowa.  
	She is survived by her husband; two sons and their wives, Wilmer, Jr. 
and Bernice of Soldier, IA and another son of Boone, IA; a daughter and her 
husband of Laurens, IA; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; 
and thirteen great great grandchildren.
	She was preceded by her parents; three sisters, Blanch, Bertha and 
Gladys; and three brothers, Brady, Fred and Walton.
