	Mamie V. Kratz, 93, of Onawa, Iowa, died Saturday, July 6, 1991, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	She was born January 16, 1898, at Sloan, Iowa to William and Louise 
(Koch) Trafton.  She married Charles E. Kratz on March 22, 1913, at Onawa.   
Charles passed away  July 4, 1971.  
	
	Survivors include two sons, Charles of Moorhead and Doyle of Omaha, 
one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Arlene) Shepherd, of Sacramento, CA, three 
sisters, Mrs. C. (Elsie) Stinger of South Sioux City, Mrs. Harry (Lucille) 
Pederson of Hinton, and Mrs. Edna Gleason of Onawa, seven grandchildren, 
eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, one son, Earl, 
an infant daughter, four brothers, and three sisters.
