Donald H. Kroll								1998

	Donald H. Kroll, age 87, of Asheville, North Carolina, and formerly of 
Ute, died Friday, November 6, 1998, at Asheville.
	
	Donald Herman Kroll was born on February 21, 1911 in Ute, Iowa.  His 
parents, Herman Kroll and Lucy Gerten Kroll raised a family of eight 
children.  
	He married Gladyce Josephine Evenson July 2, 1937.
	 Those survivors left to cherish his memory include Gladyce (Evenson) 
Kroll, his wife of 61 years; a daughter of Ute, Iowa; a son and his wife of 
Arden, North Carolina; a sister, Pauline Carlisle of Brighton, Colorado; seven 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
