	August J. Kruse, age 67, of Denison, Iowa, died on Wednesday, May 11, 
1988, in a hospital in Denison, Iowa.
	Mr. Kruse was born on December 6, 1920, to William and Josephine 
(Waderich) Kruse in Mapleton, Iowa.  He married Lavina Hall on September 3, 
1963, in Sioux City, Iowa.   Mrs. Kruse died on March 6, 1988.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and his wife.
