        Wilbert LaVerne Kuhlmann, 81, Onawa, Iowa, died Thursday, April 8, 
1993, at Onawa.
	He was born November 9, 1911, at Castana, Iowa, the son of Jacob and 
Bertha Kuhlmann.  On August 21, 1935, he married Esther Mae Longlee in Sioux 
City, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Esther, four sons, Ronald and his wife, 
Trudy, of Honey Creek, Iowa, Norman and his wife, Judy, of Moorhead, Iowa, 
Dennis and his wife, Linda, and Douglas and his wife, Cindy, all of Onawa, two 
daughters, Carole Kress and her husband, John of Pisgah, Iowa and Judy 
Glassburner and her husband, Robert, of Omaha, NE, sixteen grandchildren, 
twenty-three great grandchildren, three brothers, LaVern, of Onawa, Erwin and 
Arnold, both of Lake Charles, LA, two sisters, Lillian Rhode of Turin, Iowa 
and Velma Campbell of Council Bluffs, Iowa and many nieces and nephews, and a 
host of friends.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Art, Ahart, 
Elvin, and Alfred and two sisters, Rose and Agnes.
