Oscar M. Larson                         (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Oscar M. Larson, 93, Soldier, died April 20, 1986 at Burgess Memorial 
Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born September 10, 1892, on a farm near Ute, to Lars and Olena 
(Hanson) Larson.  On January 27, 1916, he married Virgil Anna Fay Ball at 
Ute.   Mrs. Larson died May 10, 1968, in Onawa.  
	Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jesse (Ruth) Hagerdon of 
Smithland, Mrs. Everett (Lavina) Price of Mapleton, and Mrs. Milton (Burnetta) 
Melby of Soldier, fourteen grandchildren, four step grandchildren, twenty-
three great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by parents, his wife, a son, LeRoyce Larson 
on April 5, 1986, two grandchildren, Keith and Ricky, six brothers, and five 
sisters.
