	Darrell York Larson,  died Sunday, January 7, 1990 in St. Joseph 
Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
	He was born July 4, 1932, in rural Castana, the son of Charlie and 
Floy Lella York Larson.  .  On November 19, 1954, he married Barbara Wood at 
Smithland, Iowa,
	Survivors include his wife, Barbara; three sons, Randy of Onawa, 
Bradley of Des Moines, and Travis at home; a daughter, Lisa Smith of Castana; 
his mother, Lella Larson of Castana; three sisters, Eileen Henry of Caldwell, 
Idaho, Evelyn Will of Sioux City, and Melva Wanamaker of Castana; a brother 
Melvin of Wells, Minnesota; a grandson, and  three stepgrandsons,
	He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Larson.
