GEORGE LEE                                 (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	George Edwin Lee, 91, Soldier, Iowa, passed away January 9, 1981, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital at Onawa, Iowa.
	He was born May 14, 1889, near Ute, Iowa, to Mitchel and Lena Erickson 
Lee.  On October 15, 1919, he was united in marriage with Rose Meadows at 
Omaha, Neb. 	
	Survivors include his wife, Rose; three daughters; three sons; one 
brother, Amos, Mount Ayr, Iowa, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great 
grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant children, five 
brothers and one sister.
