	 Daisy Lindley, 99, of Mapleton, died Tuesday, July 12, 1994 in 
Mapleton, Iowa.
	
	Mrs. Lindley was born Sept. 11, 1894, in Red Cloud, Neb., the daughter 
of Albert and Mary (Kearns) Sterner.  She came with her parents to the Charter 
Oak/Ute area.  She married Jeff E. Lindley March 15, 1915, in Onawa, Iowa.   
Mr. Lindley died in January of 1967.  
	
	Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Alice and Keith Miller 
of Mapleton; a son and his wife, Roy and Dorothy of Ute; 11 grandchildren, and 
19 great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by two daughters, Esther Chedester and 
Violet Strait; two sisters; and six brothers.
