Last Rite Held For
	Mathilda Longlee		(From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mathilda Caroline Longlee was born December 8, 1878 at Setskogen, 
Norway and passed from this life at the Willowdale Nursing Home in Battle 
Creek, Iowa on Friday, July 24, 1970.
	Mrs. Longlee came to America in 1907 and on March 26, 1907, she was 
united in marriage to Chris H. Longlee at Soldier, Iowa.  Mr. Longlee died on 
July 1, 1956.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin.  
	Mrs. Longlee is survived by three sons, Harold and Carl of Castana and 
Clifford of Onawa; five daughters, (Mary) Mrs. Park Knutson, Sioux City, Iowa, 
(Esther) Mrs. Wilbert Kuhlmann of Castana, (Helen) Mrs. Everett Hord, Sr., 
(Maxine) Mrs. Raymond Thoreson and (Lillian) Mrs. Donald Lane all of Sioux 
City, Iowa.  There are 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a number 
of relatives in Norway.
