	Arthur John Lord, 81, Soldier, died December 24, 1986, at Marian 
Health Center in Sioux City.
	He was born June 11, 1905, at Castana, to James Lawrence and Edna Mary 
(Masters) Lord. 	Survivors include his brother, Harry of Soldier, five 
nieces, Marjorie Lund, and Mrs. Lowell (Esther) Amunson, both of Soldier, Mrs. 
Raymond (Edna) Olson of Dunlap, Eva McPheeters of Crown Point, Ind., and Mrs. 
Bill (Anna-Mae) Surber of Climbing Hill, and a nephew, Arvid Hansen, Jr. of 
Onawa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Nellie 
Cummins, Bessie Sorenson, and Mildred Hansen, two nephews, Frank Sorenson of 
Sioux City and William Cummins of Cherokee.
