Walter Raymond Low Sr.	               (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Walter Raymond Low Sr., Onawa, Iowa died at Burgess Memorial Hospital 
in Onawa on December 31, 1983.  
	He was born at Salix, Iowa, on June 21, 1892, the son of Edwin H. and 
Anna Larson Low.  He married Mary Hildebrand on October 14, 1914, at Salix.  
Mrs. Low died September 23, 1981, in Onawa.  
	Survivors include three sons, Edwin Low of Spokane, Washington, John 
Low and Raymond Low, both of Onawa; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 
and a half sister, Mrs. Lynn (Mary) Hill in Texas.  He was preceded in death 
by his wife, Mary, one daughter, Mary Louise Corr and one son, Donald.
